Case Study

A county government on Florida's Gulf Coast utilized several outsourced vendors to provide claims administration, health risk appraisals, worker compensation administration, pharmacy benefit management, disease management, absence management and more. Each vendor provided periodic summary reports but the employer could not integrate the information to identify health, productivity, and cost trends across the workforce. We applied our proprietary tool RiskFlagTM to integrate the data and identify individuals in the workforce likely to experience health problems and productivity decreases. Consequently, we were able to identify a trend toward particular workplace injuries, and recommend a targeted intervention to the client.
